The enabler of the UK’s clean energy transition

NatPower UK: clean energy enablers doing things differently

Holistic approach

We own the entire development cycle of the infrastructure that will operate the UK’s energy system for decades to come; from clean generation and storage, transmission and distribution, to flexible demand management and responsible energy use.

Community-first partnerships

We enter into a life-long partnership with our communities; from project design to operation, we future proof farming and local businesses. We put land, nature, and communities at the heart of our projects.

Securing UK energy

For too long the UK has relied on fossil fuels and international markets, leaving families and businesses exposed to foreign market fluctuations. By generating and storing renewable energy at scale, we are supporting the UK to achieve energy security and more affordable and stable energy prices for all.

NatPower UK are more than just a company, we are a community of individuals dedicated to driving sustainability and energy innovation.

A global company with local beginnings

NatPower UK is part of the NatPower Group, an independent, well-capitalised energy enabler. We currently have 40GW of assets developed across 20 countries and six continents; we are an established, credible clean energy enabler with a proven track record.

Our impact

Clean energy infrastructure that enhances local livelihoods and nature

Working closely with our communities, we ensure that our work has a positive, meaningful impact on local people and their surroundings, from the point of initial engagement to project delivery, and beyond.

Community Benefit Funds

We are committing up to £1m per year to every local community where our projects are based; with this money deployed on local initiatives – through our partner Foundation, Evogea – that create positive environmental and economic outcomes for local people.

Working with Evogea

Evogea is an independent Foundation that we sponsor through our community fund contributions to support local nature restoration, sustainable technology, biodiversity and other schemes. Our aim is to create the most sustainable communities in the UK, generating meaningful and long-term impact with people and businesses in our project areas.

Digitising assets

We invest in state-of-the-art digital technology to support a faster and flexible development of assets, creating digital twins to operate and optimise assets even before construction.

A connected future

We invest in data by mapping the grid, dynamic and intermittent energy demand and supply flows, energy market pricing creation, and creating algorithms using AI, to operate and power the future.
